I bought a really beautiful sapphire several years ago nd finally had the money to have it set into a ring. Since it’s slightly off in shape I had a custom setting with a halo of smal diamonds and a plain shank done in white gold.
The first two things that were wrong were that i had asked for it to be prong set and it was bezel set, and the diamonds were set all crooked and not well done at all. I mentioned the problem and she straightened out the diamonds for the most part. I was willing to live with it. But now just two months later the bezel set sapphire is loose. What can I do? I pierced them with a stud gun from Sam’s…and then i changed them out that day for some better looking diamonds.
2 days later i loose one in football and by the time i got back to my house it closed up so i had to take the other 1 out or i was goin to look gay with one….
and i was asking how long do i have to wait until i can repierce both of them there a lil sore still but pain isn’t a problem and they didn’t seem to be gettin infected at all

I am SO FRUSTRATED!

My rings (wedding band and engagement ring) are extremely important to me, and I never take them off. I’ve been married almost 2 years, and for the warranty on my diamonds I have to go in every 6 months for an inspection and a cleaning of my rings.

Both my engagement ring and my wedding ring have running diamonds on them.

Six months ago in May, they took my engagement ring away because a diamond was loose and they took 2 weeks to fix it.

Today, I went in to have my rings inspected again (it’s been 6 months) and they took my wedding band from me because a diamond was loose AGAIN!

I HATE WHEN THEY TAKE MY RINGS! I feel so naked, and honestly it’s weird but I get a little sad! I just want my ring back, and I want them to not be made so sh*tty that every 6 months they get taken away for 2 weeks! THEY WERE EXPENSIVE! Why do they keep falling apart?!

Anyone else feel depressed and naked without their rings?!

I know most of the ways to keep the rings clean such as toothpaste, ammonia, regular jewelry cleaner…Do you have any other suggestions on how to keep my diamonds shiny and new??? I wear latex gloves for most of the day and i noticed the rings loose their shine after a while..aside from a good jewelry steamer what would you suggest i use??
