My bf bought my ring a month ago, and we are just waiting for it to come in to the jewelers since it had to be made. Since then I’ve had 3 dreams about getting the ring and it being broken…either the diamond is loose or falls out, or the side diamonds fall all over the floor……

Before you say it means the relationship is going to break, it isn’t! What ELSE could it mean, I can’t find it in any dream dictionary site!
Those sound pretty good….I was able to pick it out, I went by a fake they had in the case and picked the diamond later….the fake I went by was over 2 carats and mine is less than one, so I don’t actually know what it’s going to look like!!
I also had a dream last nite that we only had 3 weeks to plan the wedding and I didn’t have the ring in time(probably cuz Ive been waiting by the phone all month) and had ugly BM dresses, my dad wasn’t allowed to walk me down, and we only had 20 min. for the whole wedding, and the bill was over $14,000. haha

I know not to read into them, Im not worried about it, it’s just funny that I’ve had it 3 times!
2 more months- I had the same dream all the time when I was pregnant!!

So I took it back to the store and they are checking it out. While Im waiting to see what they find, I would like know if anyone else had this happen or if you know how this could happen? I had picked out my own ring and knew I was getting it, but didn’t know when, although I had a feeling it was going to be 22nd birthday present. We went to Six Flags, where we had our first date, and stood in front of the fountain to get our photo taken. He told me some line about his sisters friend who worked there who said they have to take so many photos before they can take a break and felt sorry for them, we never take photos so that was good excuse. When the person was taking the photo, he pulled out the box and gave me my ring. His great line was “Well, here you go!” lol. He’s a great guy but not good with words.
The bad thing was, though, the ring didn’t fit my finger at all and had to be resized before I could even wear it! During the resizing process, a diamond was knocked loose and it took nearly a month to get it repaired properly. Crazy, huh?
At least we have a good story out of it right? At the time I was crushed but I think its funny now.

So, how did it happen?
I enjoyed all of the stories and I have no idea why anyone would give any of them a thumbs down. I’m putting this question up for vote because I feel there is no best answer as all answers are lovely.

if the dimentions of the diamond are not as close to a perfect square, will the cushion diamond loose some of its sparkle?
