Walk into jewellery stores, most of them sell loose stones. Perhaps not the more established ones. Tell them you’ve got the band already. Tell them exactly what you need.

im not sure where you are located, but i’m in chicago and there is a store called “the jewelry exchange” and they are known for selling loose diamonds.

Blue Nile sells loose diamonds, they are high quality & great prices. You can use the cool scroll bar thingy to narrow down the size, color, clarity, cut, and price that you want. If you’re new to diamonds, they also have a great tutorial.

My engagement ring came from there. They are very popular and legit (have even been featured in the NYT).

and if they dont have what you want call them, many times they have diamonds that they dont list.
