I’m looking to buy a loose diamond online that will be set in an engagement ring by a local jeweler. I need a site that’s RELIABLE!!

I would check their return policy and only purchase a GIA certified loose stone. Once you receive the stone, take it and the certification to your jeweler and have them look at the stone to make sure that it is the quality and size that you thought you purchased. If it is, have it set. If it’s not, return the stone and get the stone from a reputable jeweler like the one who is setting the ring for you. It’s very easy to get swindled when buying quality stones online. If you don’t care about the quality and are only interested in the size of the stone, then go for it and you’ll be happy no matter what.

I have heard pretty good reviews on ‘bluenile.com.’ I played around with their site yesterday and it seems they have a great selection of loose diamonds.
Also, check out
They are also reputible.
Don’t buy loose diamonds online.

Where ever you buy from, just be sure you know their return policy and how they ship things. I would also strongly recommend going with a GIA cert stone and the cert needs to be provided to you when you purchase the stone.
Also, after you buy it, take it immediately to a appraiser and have them verify the stone you have is the one the GIA cert says you have (they are all laser inscribed with an ID #).
I never ever buy a diamond I online, a diamond that I did not see ! And I buy them daily.
Why don’t you check your local jeweller : you will get advise, guarantee, service, serious information. Basically you are worried because you are not an expert I presume, so why buy online. Why take a big risk for a small difference in price ?

I bought from them, quick and reasonable prices.
